Dreaming in Red
I'm currently going through a very distinct phase of 'red fixation'.
Everyday going home, I pass by my village's little temple and recently they put up these beautiful lanterns. I got rather obsessed with them and made a mental note to shoot them.
The first time, I took a number of shots but was unable to get the shot that I wanted.
The second time (maybe a week later), I decided to try again. The wind was pretty strong... it was close to pitch dark, but with renewed determination, I decided to try and capture ^_^
Lanterns move A LOT and are difficult to capture in motion. Maybe I got lucky with this one. You can see the strong structural make of the lantern and just that subtle hint of movement - in the tassels
